Bright Horizons at 2nd Street is designed to provide a stimulating, developmentally based learning environment. Our spacious, brand new classrooms feature a home-like atmosphere with warm, comforting colors. Large windows to the outdoors provide lots of natural light, and windows between rooms encourage social interaction. We are one of few local centers that have a dedicated outdoor play area. The playground allows the children to explore the outdoors all year long. In inclement weather, the children can use our indoor gross motor space with a variety of materials to stimulate their physical needs. A Ready for School Program is in place in our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten rooms to build on skills of pre-reading, math, and handwriting.
