Director - Robin
I joined Bright Horizons Family Solutions in May of 1998. I graduated from Bryan College in Dayton, TN with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My husband and I live in my home town of Apex with our son, daughter, and two dogs. We spend a large portion of our time working with the senior high in our church youth group. I also enjoy taking mission trips to spanish speaking countries.
Children are my most favorite people in the world! I love to talk with them and learn from what they have to say. I see our job as providing a wonderful, safe environment for children to learn and grow while having the time of their life! I believe this to be one of the most important jobs in the entire world and I am privileged to work for a company who strives to make this type of care, the very best.

Assistant Director - Wendy
I joined the Bright Horizons family in September 2002 at our GSK-RTP site. My career with Bright Horizons has taken me through several paths from working with infants/toddlers, teaching preschool, and helping in various leadership positions throughout our region. I grew up in the foothills of North Carolina and relocated to Greenville, NC after completing high school. In May 2002 I graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates) where I received my BS degree in Family and Community Services. After graduation, I moved to the RTP area and have been here ever since. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, vacationing, shopping, and going to sporting events.

Administrative Assistant - Haley
I have been a part of the Bright Horizons team since
June of 2006. I started my career as a summer camp school age
counselor, but enjoyed working with the children so much that I decided
to go full time after graduation. I received a Business Management and
Concentration in Marketing degree from North Carolina State University which has allowed me to combine the best of both worlds. I knew that I had a passion for business as well as children which has made my time here such a success! I grew up in Greensboro, NC with my two sisters and my parents. I had a wonderful childhood and still hold family as one of the most important things in my life. My best friend Jon and I were married in June of 2009 and we live in Holly Springs.

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher - Heidi
I have lived in North Carolina since I was 6 years and use the phrase “y’all” so I consider myself a Native North Carolinian. I grew up in Raleigh and graduated High School from Ravenscroft. I attended NCSU, and then transferred to Wake Tech to attend their Early Childhood Program. Two months after getting married my husband was transferred to Wilmington, North Carolina. We lived on the water at Carolina Beach, which felt like we were always on vacation. We were transferred back to Raleigh 4 years later and now live in Holly Springs with our daughter. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 20 years as both a teacher and an administrator. I was with Bright Horizons for 6 years then took a 3-year sabbatical to spend more time with my daughter and work for a private non-profit Early Childhood Center that provided free childcare for single college-student families. I knew Bright Horizons was the company for me and I am glad to be back with my Bright Horizon’s extended family.

School Age Counselor - Tiffany
I am a native of Virginia. I came to North Carolina by way of an athletic scholarship to Shaw University. It was there that I majored in Community Recreation and became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. These two allowed my teaching talents to flourish. After graduating, I became a mother and a wife. My husband and two children represent some of the most amazing moments in life. Being in their presence is like receiving a surprise gift everyday. I have worked with summer camps, teen camps, after school, and track out programs since 1993. I was also part of leadership teams in various capacities, including the art teacher for one of the east coast's largest summer camps. Prior to my position here at The Clubhouse in 2001, I was a Teacher's Assistant with the Wake County School System's Magnet Programs. All of these environments have taught me that children need to be respected, listened to, and given the spotlight to excel.

I came to Bright Horizons in 2008. I am originally from Virginia but I have transplanted myself in North Carolina. I moved here with my wife back in October and we haven't been happier. Working with kids has always been a driving force in my life. Teaching and counseling to make positive choices has been an important purpose in my life from the time I was a youth minster, public school teacher, and headmaster at a school for at-risk guys. I am glad to say that I have found a new home, here at the Clubhouse. And I look forward to many great times ahead.

Recruitment Coordinator - Jackee
My name is Jackee and I have been with the company since April
of 2004. I have been working with children since I was 16, first by
teaching Ballet to 3-5 yr. olds. I attended ECU for Dance Education, but
graduated from NC State with a degree in Spanish and International Relations.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time playing dress up with my daughter,
Jocelyn, camping on the beach and attending local festivals. Within
Bright Horizons, I have been a Creative Movements, Spanish, and Infant Teacher
until promoted into this role. I was
first attracted to Bright Horizons because of the professional staff I
encountered in the interview process and the company’s commitment to excellence
in the field of early care. As a Recruitment Coordinator, my job is to find the ‘best of the best’
to teach in our classrooms. I enjoy
doing my part to make Bright Horizons a great place to work and a great
environment for children! One of the favorite
things about my job is welcoming new members into the family with a big hug and
encouraging them in their career path to grow professionally into different leadership
roles within the company.

Educational Coordinator - Melanie
I have been working in the Early Childhood Education field
since 1998. I studied broadcast
journalism at the University of North
CarolinaChapel Hill,
but decided that my real love was working with children.
I started my career with Bright Horizons in July 1999 as a
Preschool teacher and was immediately drawn to the company due to its
commitment of doing what is right for children, the emphasis on professional
development for early childhood
educators, and the partnership with parents.
I am passionate about preserving childhood, maintaining children’s
self-esteem and fostering their natural love of learning through play. In my role as Education Coordinator, I have
the opportunity to inspire teachers at our centers to do just that in their
work with children. I provide the
support and training they may need to be successful in adhering to standards
and implementing our program for learning, The
World at Their Fingertips. I am
fulfilled by growing and stretching teachers to become lifelong learners next
to children who are constantly changing due to the influences of our society. Children teach us so much about ourselves
everyday…all we have to do is watch, but most importantly- listen and learn! Outside of my work with Bright Horizons, I
value spending time with my family and learning from my own daughter, Kailynn.
My favorite children’s quote:
“We worry about what a
child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today.”
~ Stacia Tauscher
