Bright Horizons at the International Trade Center provides a quality early childhood program offering a variety of developmentally appropriate opportunities to meet the individual needs of young children and their families. We believe that meaningful education incorporates child-centered experiences reflecting the children's interests. We base our curriculum on the Developmentally Appropriate Practices set by NAEYC. Our progressive educational program draws on the child's interests and curiosity to instill a love of learning. To enhance communication skills, children are exposed to American Sign Language and Spanish. All ages are encouraged to explore diverse cultures through music, books, and a variety of learning materials; and they are introduced to different customs through specialized class projects. Our teachers also foster creativity and discovery through our arts-based curriculum. Even infants experience the joy of expressing themselves with paint! Our enter is designed to provide a stimulating, developmentally based learning environment. Our spacious classrooms feature a home-like atmosphere with warm, comforting colors. Large windows to the outdoors provide lots of natural light, and windows between rooms encourage interaction. Fenced in outdoor play areas let children romp around safely all year long. Our library resources are stocked with delightful modern tales as well as children's classics to check out or read at school.
