Bright Horizons provides a quality early childhood program offering a variety of developmentally appropriate opportunities to meet the individual needs of young children and families. We believe that meaningful education incorporates child-centered experiences reflective of children's interests. We base our curriculum on the teaching philosophies of Reggio-Emilia Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE), as well as following the Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum by NAEYC.
Our beautiful facility has large open spaces with lots of natural light and warm colors. Our Horizon Design includes many large windows that open for fresh air and are low enough for young children to view through even when crawling. Our center has several gross motor spaces. These spaces provide additional areas for large and small group activities as well as family spaces for you to visit with your child.
Whether we're planting on the playground, studying our fish in our fish tank, reading in our gross motor room, or listening to a song on our porch, there is always something exciting going on at Bright Horizons. At our center, children have the opportunity to discover wondrous things each and every day. Our faculty partnered with the
World At Their Fingertips curriculum encourage hands on exploration in their classrooms. Monthly center family events provide you with the opportunity to get to know our staff better, spend quality time with your child as well as get to know other families.
Our family center is all about partnerships with you, the family, to ensure your child's success in school and in life. At Bright Horizons Family Solutions we understand the demanding challenge of balancing work and life needs. We also know that as a parent you will have questions and concerns about your child's development and future. Family involvement, satisfaction and shared decision-making about your child's experience, as well as support of family life, are essential to our center. We actively work to create ways to involve families in our program. Family involvement includes our PAC parent group, volunteering, lunch and learn parent workshops, participating in the parent survey, visiting the parent resource room, visiting at anytime, using our breastfeeding room, stopping by to share lunch with your child, parent teacher conferencing and special events. We believe the key to family involvement is giving families a variety of ways to be involved in the center without making you feel obligated. We encourage you to share your ideas and concerns with center management and faculty at any time.
